Frequently Asked Questions

What payment methods do you accept?

  • We accept payment by cash, by cheque, with a guarantee card and accept most major credit cards. A full VAT receipt is given with all purchases.

Can I easily change the colors on this template?

  • As long as you are familiar with CSS, you can change the colors.  Our colors and fonts are all defined in the "style.css" file, which is in the Folder List along with your other  files.

Where's the theme?

  • There isn't one.  This template is totally driven by the external style sheet, and uses FrontPage Navigation for the menu system.

Why doesn't the Site Search work?

  • We have placed the Site Search as a recommendation for you in the design of your site.  You may replace it with the actual Site Search located in FrontPage's Insert, Web Component listing, use a third party add-in site search solution, or program your own search.

What impact does flash have on search engine placement?

  • None.  Our flash movies are no different from using graphics that aren't flash movies as far as search engines are concerned.  The standard HTML remains in place, and you will enter your own META tags the same way you would with a non-flash enhanced web site.

How do I change "Your Name Here" at the top of the pages?

  • Put your own logo in place, or you can just use FrontPage and type in your name and information.  You will need to do this on each page.  Our "Your Name Here" was done in an outside graphics program  - if you have graphics capabilities, you may letter your own using the pre-sized "yournameblank.gif" image in the images/design_elements/ folder of the web, or use our layered "yourhamehere.psd" file (same directory).   You may letter, then save back to the same directory as "yournamehere.gif" - overwriting our file and thus placing your file on each page with little effort!

Can I add more pages?

  • Certainly!  You can add as many as you wish!  Just use one of our blank page templates (see the "What's Included" page of this template).  Go to the Folder List (View, Folders) and open the template named blank.htm (or blank2.htm).  As soon as it is open, go to File, Save AS... - then save it as the name you want your new page to have.  Now, go to the Navigation view (View, Navigation).  Is your Folder List open as well?  If not, the go to View, Folder LIST to open it.  Next, locate the new filename in the Folder List (it's probably at the bottom), left click over it and while holding down the left mouse button, drag it over into the Navigation Structure and drop it where you want it, so that it is underneath either the Home page or another existing page.  Repeat every time you wish to add a new page!

Why can't I change the (pick a word) in the upper and lower sections???

  • The upper and lower portions of this template are contained in  included, separate pages for your convenience.  This way, you only have to make the modifications on one page for them to appear on all pages.  Open the page include_bot.htm or include_top.htm to make your changes, save, and you're done!

Can I put my own images in the text area of the page?

  • Sure - you can do virtually anything with this template you can do with any web.
